Picolo is HGI’s shortest-stature hemp variety. Designed for production under irrigation in northerly latitudes where longer days tend to produce taller plants, Picolo has consistently proved to be a high yielder, featuring shorter height characteristics.

The primary focus of Picolo is a grain crop, as it has the shortest stature of all our varieties. Harvestability is excellent and works well under organic systems in northern areas of Canada.
